Brian Kline serves as President & CEO of JB Kline Landscaping and has been leading the family-owned business since 2004, after taking over from his father, founder John "JB" Kline. Having been with the company since 1998, Brian is dedicated to preserving the family values that have shaped JB Kline for more than 50 years while driving the company's strategic growth and long-term vision. He is passionate about building lasting client relationships, developing strong leaders, and fostering a culture centered on integrity, teamwork, and exceptional service. A lifelong resident of Laytonsville, Maryland, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife, their two daughters, and their dogs, Gus and Sadie. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, visiting Deep Creek with his family, and supporting the Montgomery County 4-H program, where he grew up and where his daughters are now active participants.

JON VON STADEN

Jon von Staden

Jon von Staden serves as the Chief Financial Officer at JB Kline Landscaping, where he provides strategic financial leadership, reporting, and operational guidance as a member of the company's Senior Leadership Team. With more than 30 years of experience in finance and the construction industry, including over two years with JB Kline, Jon has held progressive leadership roles spanning cost accounting, cost engineering, financial planning and analysis, business operations, and controllership. Jon earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minor in Business from Frostburg State University and is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP). Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, and now residing in Germantown, Jon enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on his children at their lacrosse and soccer games. He is also an avid supporter of the Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore Orioles, Johns Hopkins lacrosse, and University of Maryland lacrosse.

Nathan Iager

Nathan Iager serves as Vice President of the Landscape Construction Division at JB Kline Landscaping, where he leads the sales and production teams responsible for delivering the company's commercial landscape construction projects. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, he helps guide the company's strategic direction and long-term growth initiatives. Since joining JB Kline Landscaping in 2015, Nathan has combined technical engineering expertise with hands-on project management experience to help grow the Landscape Construction Division into a trusted partner for complex commercial projects throughout Maryland, Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia. He earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, and is a LEED Green Associate. Prior to joining JB Kline, Nathan worked on the engineering side of the construction industry, developing the technical and project management expertise that continues to shape his leadership today. Outside of work, Nathan enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons on their small farm, where he enjoys tackling construction and agricultural projects while putting new ideas to the test.

With more than 20 years of experience in the green industry and business leadership, Jason is passionate about developing high-performing teams, building lasting client partnerships, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Landscape Management from The Pennsylvania State University. Originally from York, Pennsylvania, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, camping, traveling, following college football, and reading books focused on leadership and business development.

Over the past seven years with JB Kline, Luke has played a key role in the company's growth by building its preconstruction department from the ground up, developing the sales processes, estimating systems, and technology that support efficient, accurate, and transparent project delivery. With 15 years of commercial construction experience, he previously supported national-scale sales and estimating efforts with regional contractors. Luke earned his Bachelor of Science in Plant Sciences from the University of Maryland and has completed the Vistage Key Executive Program and Sandler Sales Training. Originally from Frederick, Maryland, and now residing in Denver, Colorado, Luke is a songwriter who has toured the United States performing original music alongside nationally recognized artists. Outside of work, he enjoys performing music locally, skiing with his wife, and hunting in the Rocky Mountain backcountry.

Having advanced through roles ranging from Laborer and Crew Leader to Production Manager and Account Manager, he is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, supporting his team, and exceeding client expectations. Originally from Frederick, Maryland, Adrian has continued his professional development through industry training and hands-on experience throughout his career. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, cooking, and spending time with his wife and daughter. Adrian also enjoys doing impressions of characters (and even a few coworkers), which always keeps the office laughing.

Danny earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Glenville State University. A Maryland native from Sykesville, he enjoys hunting, fishing, spending time with his family, and escaping to West Virginia whenever he can. A fun fact about Danny is that he kept honeybees for three years, giving him a greater appreciation for nature and conservation.

Residing in Woodbine, Maryland, Buddy enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, cheering them on in baseball, basketball, cheer, and football as proud supporters of the Mount Airy Bulldogs youth sports program.

Scott earned his degree in History from Limestone University and holds both Maryland Pesticide and Pennsylvania Insecticide Licenses. A Silver Spring, Maryland native, he is a two-time NCAA National Champion in lacrosse (2014 and 2015) and previously coached travel lacrosse for Team Maryland. Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, friends, fiancée, and their three dogs—Ferguson, Paisley, and Orla—and traveling to the beach and Long Island whenever he can.

Carl earned his Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business from Delaware Valley University. Originally from Laytonsville, Maryland, agriculture has always been an important part of his life. He and his wife met through 4-H, where their children now raise and show beef cattle. Outside of work, Carl enjoys supporting his family's agricultural activities and cheering on his favorite sports teams, especially baseball.

Julio had more than 20 years of landscaping experience, having advanced through roles including Crew Member, Crew Leader, Supervisor, Superintendent in landscape construction, and Production Manager in landscape maintenance. He graduated from Clifton High School in New Jersey and began his landscaping career shortly after, developing a lifelong passion for the industry. Originally from Guatemala, Julio moved to the United States at the age of 15. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren, grilling year-round, traveling with family and friends, and cheering on his favorite soccer team, FC Barcelona.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Parks and Recreation Management from West Virginia University. Originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, and later attending high school outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Eric enjoys whitewater kayaking, hiking, running, mountain biking, gardening, and cooking on the grill. He is also the proud father of two children, Brooke and Connor, both students at Shepherd University and collegiate athletes.

Lindsey Reed serves as the Anne Arundel Branch Administrator for our Maintenance Division, where she helps keep daily operations running smoothly by coordinating administrative functions, supporting the branch team, and providing exceptional service to both employees and customers. With more than 10 years of experience as an Office Manager and Branch Administrator, including the past year and a half with JB Kline Landscaping, Lindsey is known for her organization, problem-solving skills, and dedication to creating an efficient and welcoming work environment. Originally from Glen Burnie, Maryland, Lindsey is a proud mom of five boys and grandmother to a beautiful granddaughter. Outside of work, she enjoys cheering on her children at soccer and lacrosse games, spending time with her family, and making memories with her two chocolate Labs, Bella and Amore.

Corbin Sander serves as a Production Manager at our Laytonsville Maintenance Division at JB Kline Landscaping and has been with the company since 2022. With more than 10 years of experience in the landscaping industry, Corbin oversees landscape maintenance operations, including quality control, scheduling, employee development, and safety. He is passionate about developing field employees and plays an important role in recruiting, training, and retaining the talented team members who help drive JB Kline's success. Outside of work, Corbin enjoys tackling outdoor projects at home and spending time with his wife and two daughters, especially at the beach or Deep Creek Lake.

Divan Van Eck serves as an Account Manager for JB Kline Landscaping's Frederick Maintenance Branch, where he is dedicated to building strong client relationships through proactive communication and expert landscape guidance. Since joining JB Kline in 2026, Divan has brought more than 25 years of landscaping experience, including 15 years serving clients throughout Frederick County, helping ensure each property's landscape vision is achieved. Originally from Middelburg in South Africa's Eastern Cape, he moved to the United States in 2001. Outside of work, Divan enjoys spending time with his wife of 17 years, Heather, and their two children, Weston and Tinley. As a family, they love camping, traveling with their camper to state parks, and staying active outdoors. Divan is also passionate about youth sports and currently coaches both flag and tackle football, serving as the head coach of the Oakdale Pony D1 Bears.

Ryan Van Meers serves as the Construction Superintendent at JB Kline Landscaping, where he oversees daily field operations, project scheduling, safety, and the coordination of multiple construction projects. He works closely with field teams to support their development and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Ryan joined JB Kline Landscaping in 2019, beginning his career with the company as a laborer before advancing into his current leadership role. He also brings prior experience working for both a landscape company and a custom home builder. Ryan earned his Associate's degree in Construction Management. Originally from Burtonsville, Maryland, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports, and tackling building projects around his home.

Dan White serves as a Project Manager in JB Kline Landscaping's Construction Division and has been with the company for more than two and a half years. Bringing over six years of experience in the construction industry, Dan oversees commercial landscape construction projects from planning through completion, managing multiple projects while working closely with clients, design teams, and field crews to ensure quality execution, on-time delivery, and successful project outcomes. He earned his bachelor's degree from Stevenson University and takes pride in building strong relationships, solving complex challenges, and delivering high-quality landscape construction projects that exceed client expectations. Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time on the golf course and making the most of his free time with his wife and children.

With 20 years of experience in the landscaping industry and having joined JB Kline Landscaping in 2025, Amy is passionate about building strong relationships, solving problems, and ensuring both customers and employees receive exceptional support. Originally from Damascus, Maryland, and now residing in Mt. Airy, she takes pride in fostering a collaborative environment that reflects JB Kline's core values. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and antiquing in search of hidden treasures. She is also a passionate advocate for the special needs community, supporting opportunities that promote inclusion and independence.

Nexer Zepeda serves as an Account Manager at JB Kline’s Laytonsville Maintenance Division, bringing more than 28 years of experience in horticulture, landscape management, turfgrass science, and environmental stewardship. He partners with clients to provide expert guidance and customized solutions that enhance the health, appearance, and sustainability of their landscapes. Nexer earned a Bachelor of Science in Plant Science with a minor in Golf Turf Management from Rutgers University, as well as an Associate Degree in Horticulture and Landscape Design from the Community College of Baltimore County. He is a Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) in Ornamental Horticulture and Turf Management and holds a Maryland Turf and Ornamental Management License. Residing in Westminster, Maryland, Nexer enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music, and working in his garden.
